1. Good question Verna. When I was searching for a bass rig, the sound I was looking for was a mix between the old school phat funk bass, with the big dynamic/punchy sound of todays bass guitars. So I have gone with a Marshall VBA400 valve bass head, a Lab System high powered quad box, and a G&L2000 bass guitar.
I really love this combination, as it give me so much warmth and tone, with more than enough punch and grunt on tap when I need it.
Its a bit of a pain in the arse to cart around, but its well worth it.

I might have to call the roof seal for a quote after we blow the roof off Ruby's 27th Jan, when we take the stage once again for Australia day weekend!!!!
