To answer a couple of questions...
1. No, I'm no relation to a Karen Melder, although this question strangely has been asked of me once before.
2. Albert "The Ice Man" Collins, is a definite influence on me. The Master Of Telecaster can hit one note and make you jump up & feel good. It's something I try and do every time I play, whether it be physically or spiritually. He is also my inspiration to start playing without a pick, although I haven't got good enough to try this on stage.
